Jio Cashback Offer Continues: Prime Users to Get Benefits Worth Up to Rs. 700 on Rs. 398 Recharge

Jio is continuing with its Surprise Cashback Offer even after the scheduled last date for the offer has ended. In the second edition of the Surprise Cashback Offer, Jio Prime users will get up to Rs. 700 total benefits on purchasing recharges of Rs. 398 or more between January 16 and January 31. This comes just a day after the original Jio Surprise Cashback Offer was slated to end, January 15. However, the total benefits have declined steeply this time around, from up to Rs. 3,300 to a maximum of Rs. 700.

Under the new Jio Surprise Cashback offer, subscribers will get the benefits in the form of vouchers and wallet cashbacks – there will be no coupons for discounts on online shopping in the ongoing offer period. In the December 25-January 15 cashback offer, the online shopping discount coupons accounted for a bulk of the benefits, as they amounted to Rs. 2,600 of the total Rs. 3,300 benefits. So, essentially, the offer is roughly the same as before, minus the value of the coupons.

Jio Prime subscribers buying a recharge of Rs. 398 or more will get eight vouchers worth Rs. 50, totalling Rs. 400 in value. These vouchers can be used to deduct Rs. 50 while purchasing future recharge packs.

Apart from these, buyers will get wallet cashback of up to Rs. 300 if they make the purchase using Amazon Pay, Paytm, MobiKwik, PhonePe, Axis Pay or Freecharge. Following is the value of cashbacks Jio users will get as part of the offer:

Partner Cashback for new users Cashback for existing users
MobiKwik Rs. 300 (Code – JIOGIFT) Rs. 300 (Code – JIOGIFT)
Amazon Pay Rs. 50 Rs. 50
Axis Pay Rs. 100 Rs. 30
PhonePe Rs. 75 Rs. 75
Paytm Rs. 50 (Code – NEWJIO) Rs. 30 (Code – PAYTMJIO)
Freecharge Rs. 30 (Code – JIO30) Rs. 30 (Code – JIO30)

This is the third consecutive cashback offer the Mukesh Ambani-backed telco is running for its users, and comes soon after it cut prices of its 1GB per day prepaid packs, and launched packs with 1.5GB daily data allocation.
