When Sony Ericsson unveiled the first Xperia X1, the company has been somewhat hampered by the fact that this device will be forthcoming launch of Windows Mobile 6,1 Professional, operating system, which has not yet been officially announced at that time.
Fortunately for Sony Ericsson, had to wait for the announcement was made yesterday, so now allowed to leave the show this device in all its glory.
Kevin O’Brien and I are at CTIA exhibition in Las Vegas, and we got some hands-on time with Xperia X1, and recorded some of his videotaped in action.
This smartphone will include 3 - inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) touch screen that can slide toward disclose QWERTY keyboard. Other options for navigation will be four key areas and optical joystick.
X1 will be quad-band GSM phone with support for 3G frequencies used worldwide. It will also have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
This Windows Mobile Professional device will include up to 400 MB of internal storage and Memory Stick Micro card slot for additional storage.
In addition, this model will include a GPS, 3,2 megapixel camera and FM receiver. Sony Ericsson said XPERIA X1 will debut in the U.S. during the second half of 2008.
